2 years have passed and Hope is a Toddler. Sometimes getting into trouble. but mostly she's the quiet type. and a very big Daddy's girl.

*Currently reading to Hope. using a picture book to also teach her to associate words to objects, actions, etc.*

Mmm.. B... Bir.... *She struggles particularly with the R Sound at the moment. but her parents have been working on her with it*

*Giggles. climbing off the couch and jumping up and down* Bird bird bird!!!!

Do you wanna go out to the lake, and see if you can find any? And point them out to us?

*Her eyes widened. and she walked over to Gale. lifting her arms for uppies* Yes! Lake! Lake!

Alright, alright... *picks her up* We'll go... You coming Nisha?

Of course. i'll meet you out there. let me make some snacks to bring. and i think i may have some birdseed somewhere we can throw out to them.. *She said. getting up. going to kiss Gale softly before heading to the kitchen to prepare some snacks for them*

Close enough.... *starts heading to the lake*

*Hugging Gale's neck as they approach the lake* Lake!

Yes, the lake...

*Soon joining them. Bringing a couple of Sandwiches. plus the bag of bird seed. and sitting down by the lake*

Yum! *Noticing the bag* What dat?

This is food for the birdies. you toss some out. and if you're lucky. a few may fly down to eat them. Come eat first and then give it a try. *She said. smiling as she sets all their sandwiches out for them*

*takes his as well and sits down to enjoy it*

*Enjoys her sandwich.. sort of.. she'll take a small bite now and then but her eyes are glued to all the trees. hoping to spot a bird... or trying to magically will them to appear.*

Hope, you heard your mother.... eat your lunch, then you can play. I promise.

Okay Daddyyy. *She said. pouting. and returns to eating her sandwich.*

*She just smiled. and moved her free hand to rest it on Gale's while looking out onto the lake*

Pouty girls, go to their room to pout by themselves, you're not pouting are you?

Huh? No! I not pouting!

Well that's good, had me worried there for a moment.

No worry Daddy! I okay! *Finishing her sandwich*

*Eating hers slowly. she's in no rush. she's just enjoying the outdoors with her family*

Bird?

Yes dear. you can throw the seeds now. one small handful at a time though okay?

Okay! *Taking the bag and getting a scoop. and then goes over to a spot not too far and tosses the seeds out. and just stands there... watching.. waiting*

I'm still waiting to wake up to the pain of the lash..

*Gripping his hand a bit* Sometimes i feel as if i'm dreaming too... But.. Whether it be the case or not... You're certainly the greatest dream i'll ever have.. You.. and our little girl..

*Watching as a couple of birds fly down from the trees and begin eating the birdseed. Gasping with excitement* Mommy! Daddy! Bird! Bird!

*She did scare one off from the excited shouting. but after he said that she sat down to watch quietly.*

A parrot, that way i'd finally be pretty for once and still be able to talk to you guys.

Gale! *She laughed*

*Standing up* Well.. The birdies are about finished.. what do you say we go find something for dinner? Will you be mommy's little helper and help me cook?

I DON WANNA BE A ORC!! *She said. Speeding past her and hurrying into the house*

*Standing back up straight and snickering*

That worked... *Turning back to Gale. extending her hand to help him up*

You sneaky devil you.... *as he takes her hand and stands, putting his arm around her waist as they walk in behind Hope*

*Giggling and smiling. going inside with him. looking at Hope already in the Kitchen once they enter* Oh look at you! You're so fast!

Guess that makes me the Orc...*starts stomping around and drooling*

NOOO!!! Daddy you not a Orc!!!

I know how to help him. *She said. going over and wiping the drool from his mouth before kissing him deeply*

I should be sick more often.....

*She giggled and went to go help Hope look through recipes in a book. naming out each one and asking Hope which she thinks they should make*

*goes to take a short nap before dinner*

Soon dinner was finished. so the family sat down to enjoy it together. talking a little here and there. Nisha Running Hope a bath and getting her ready for bed after. then after she was settled. she and Gale got in the shower. and head to bed also. snuggling and sleeping soundly
